Fast-Weigh Ticketing: NTEP CC 03-058A1
Yes. Our Database uses UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) to store times. This allows the Web Portal and Reports to display the local timezone of the Web Portal user. The main exception to this is that the archived PDF of tickets will always show the timezone they were printed in.

We have the ability to integrate with a variety of Accounting Platforms.
Fast-Weigh can automatically pull resources from Vista/Viewpoint, Spectrum, and Quickbooks Online. Also, billing data can be automatically sent back to Spectrum and QBO. Fast-Weigh can provide a customizable CSV export of billing data that can be imported manually for Vista/Viewpoint, Sage and Quickbooks Desktop.
Yes. Orders in Fast-Weigh are directly associated with a single customer. If you need the ability to generate an invoice for the customer, then you will need to create an order for that customer.
If you plan on accepting payment at the time of ticketing then you could create a generic Cash Customer and Order. Any one-time customers could be ticketed under this order but keep in mind that you will not be able to break down activity on this Customer in reporting.
Yes, but you will first need to setup a ticket import template in Admin Settings. After doing so navigate to Tickets > Ticket Import, select the template, and import your CSV.
Absolutely! Fast-Weigh is capable of Outbound Ticketing and Inbound Ticketing. The Direction (Outbound/Inbound) is dictated at the order level.
In the Web Portal, Navigate to Orders > Orders and Edit an Order
The Direction drop-down menu allows you to select whether the order is inbound or outbound. Be sure to click save after making any changes to the order.
When an order is set to inbound, it essentially reverses the order of operations in the ticketing app.
The truck arrives at a location full of material
The truck pulls onto the scale
The scale operator saves the gross weight (prompted by the ticketing app)
The truck leaves the scale and dumps the material
The truck returns to the scale, empty
The scale operator captures the tare weight and prints the ticket
If the setting "Use Tare on Inbound Orders" is enabled the scale operator the scale operator can print the ticket during step 3 and the truck will not be required to return to the scale after dumping.
Yes! The ticketing app in Kiosk mode supports inbound ticketing. The kiosk will prompt the driver to "Save Gross" instead of printing the ticket when using an inbound order.
If the setting "Use Tare on Inbound Orders" is enabled the driver will print the ticket immediately using the saved tare weight
Ticket Numbers in Fast-Weigh must be unique if the Order-Products are the same.
Order-Products are tied to:
Location
Order
Customer
Even though you can use the same ticket numbers for different locations we recommend using unique number sequences for each location.
If you request changes to your custom ticket we will notify you when the changes have been uploaded. However, you will need to update your report formats from the portal on the Desktop Ticketing App to pull in this change:
Click the "Settings" button on the top right of the screen
Click the "Reports" tab
Click the "Update from Portal" button
This will take a few seconds to update, and then you can close the popup that details the updates.
