Why does changing the pricing template not update my orders?

Changing the Default Pricing Template on the Product Setup page will not update an Order's selected Pricing Template.

Level 3 is the selected Pricing Template default

The Pricing Template default changes what Pricing Template is defaulted to when creating a new Customer.

Since Level 3 is the default, when creating a new Customer that template is already selected

The Pricing Template on a Customer tells an Order what to set it's Pricing Template to when a Customer is set on an Order.

Since the Customer has Level 3 as their Pricing Template, that template is set upon selecting that Customer

The Pricing Template on an Order can be changed from what it is set to initially, but it must be done here on the Order level.

How to Change the Pricing Template on an Order

Find your Order

Use the dropdown filters or search directly for the order you wish to edit and hit [ Refresh ]

Click [ Edit ]

Select the edit button in the rightmost column of the order

Select your Pricing Template

Save & Close

Once you've finished making your changes, select the [ Save ] Button

You will see a blue confirmation saying the Order has Saved, at which point you can safely close the window by clicking the [ Close ] button.
