# Why am I not receiving Fastweigh text messages?

## Android Phones

If you are using an Android phone, especially a Samsung device, then it's possible that the Google Messages app is marking the number used by Fastweigh to send automatic text messages as Spam and are being blocked.

> ***Samsung is converting users from their own text messaging app over to the Google Messages app in a phased rollout that is planned on being complete in July of 2026 so this could appear to a user as them suddenly not receiving text messages for no obvious reason.***

It's recommended to check and see if this is causing your text messages to be blocked if you noticed them suddenly not being received. \
\
You can check this by opening your Google Messages app, clicking the portrait icon in the top corner, and then accessing the "Spam & Blocked" section marking the text as "Not Spam".

## Apple Phones

It's been noticed that some people are having the iOS Messages app mark the Fastweigh automated text number get blocked by their apps spam filter.

Here is a link from Apple detailing how to check these settings and mark messages that have been flagged as spam to be approved.

The top of the guide in the link has a drop-down selection to show the details for different versions of iOS.
